The Morongo Band of Mission Indians is getting ready for its biggest Thanksgiving donation yet.
The tribe has been giving away turkeys for the past 20 years. This year, 7,000 turkeys and dinners are going to families in the region.
Volunteers began preparing the meals on Monday. It will take five days to deliver the turkeys.
