The Oglala Sioux Tribe of South Dakota has called in the U.S. Census Bureau to examine the results of Tuesday's primary election.
Unofficial results show President Alex White Plume and former President John Yellow Bird Steel with the most votes. Ousted President Cecilia Fire Thunder came up short by three votes.
But about 300 votes are going to be examined by the Census Bureau. Results are expected next week.
