DNC Marks Indigenous Peoples\u2019 Day with a Six-Figure Ad Campaign Reaching Native Voters\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>

On Indigenous Peoples\u2019 Day, the DNC announced a six-figure ad campaign targeting Native voters and empowering them to make their voices heard this November. The \u2018I Will Vote\u2019 campaign will reach Native communities in Arizona, North Carolina, Montana<\/span>, and Alaska through digital, print, and radio ads with a majority being placed in local and national Native-owned publications. This is the DNC\u2019s third Native-focused campaign this year alone, and the most the DNC has ever spent on a campaign targeting Native voters.\u00a0<\/span>

The DNC\u2019s \u2018I Will Vote\u2019 campaign directs voters to the DNC\u2019s up-to-date national coverage of polling places and voter education information all in one place to empower Tribal communities with the information they need to exercise their right to vote in this critical election cycle. Earlier this year, the DNC released and distributed <\/span>civic engagement and voter protection guides<\/a> in seven different Native languages; Apache<\/a>, Ho-Chunk<\/a>, Hopi<\/a>, Navajo<\/a>, Paiute<\/a>, Shoshone<\/a>, and Zuni<\/a>. The guides highlight resources for registering to vote, casting a ballot, and addressing obstacles to voting.

\u201cDemocrats<\/span> are meeting Native voters where they are, investing in our third ad campaign this cycle dedicated to reaching Native communities, with vital information about voting in this election,\u201d <\/span>said DNC Chair Jaime Harrison.<\/strong> \u201cWe know that this upcoming election is critical for our Tribal nations, with our freedoms, access to health care and education, and the fundamental right to self-determination and Tribal sovereignty on the ballot. The Democratic<\/span> Party<\/span> is taking no vote or community for granted, engaging every facet of our diverse coalition of voters in order to elect Democrats<\/span> up and down the ballot this November.\u201d\u00a0

While MAGA Republicans have attempted to <\/span>undermine<\/a> Tribal land protections, proposed cuts<\/a> to critical services in Native communities, and spewed hateful rhetoric, Democrats<\/span> are strategically engaging Native voters through this dedicated campaign and doubling down on our commitment to advance Tribal sovereignty and self-determination.\u00a0
