Team Harris-Walz Announces Major Paid Media Campaign to Reach Tribal Voters in Arizona

Continuing its efforts to reach Tribal voters across Arizona, the Harris-Walz campaign launched new radio and TV ads to highlight Vice President Harris’ New Way Forward that will lower costs for Native families, invest in Native businesses, and honor Tribalsovereignty. The Arizona Harris-Walz campaign is taking no vote for granted and continues to ramp up outreach efforts to Tribal communities to mobilize Native voters to turn out for Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz.

Part of Team Harris-Walz’s historic $370 million advertising reservations between Labor Day and Election Day, “Defend Those Principles” will air on Tribal radio and TV stations in and around the Navajo Nation to reach Native voters.

The new ads follow visits to the state from Vice President Harris and Governor Walz during which they met with Tribal leaders and members to underscore their commitment to respecting and strengthening our Tribal Nations. On Wednesday, Governor Walz met with tribal leaders in the Gila River Indian Community and on Thursday, Vice President Harris held a rally at the Rawhide Event Center in the Gila River Indian Community, where she met with youth Tribal members and leaders.

Vice President Harris and Governor Walz are committed to advancing policies that have a real, meaningful impact on Tribal communities, like lowering costs, investing in small businesses, and making affordable health care more accessible. Donald Trump and JD Vance, on the other hand, continue to demonize diverse communities and their Project 2025 agenda would harm Native families by rolling back rights and freedoms and raising costs on families by nearly $4,000 per year.
