The Char-Koosta News published four audio clips in which U.S. Senate candidate Tim Sheehy, a Republican, repeatedly linked Native people to alcohol. The newspaper said the audio came from four different campaign events in Montana.
Tim Sheehy in Shelby: ''Great way to bond with all the Indians -- while they're drunk at 8am"
Tim Sheehy in Hamilton: "If you know a tough crowd, you want to go to Crow Rez"
Tim Sheehy in Superior: "If you don't make that double-heel shot on the rez .. the Coors Light cans fly on the side of your head"
Tim Sheehy in Helena: "Yep, I'm here. I'm a Republican. And I'm on this reservation telling you that I care about your issues"
