Affie Ellis, a citizen of the Navajo Nation, has won another term in the Wyoming Legislature, according to unofficial results from the Secretary of State. The Republican incumbent serves District 8 in the State Senate.
“Thank you. It is an honor to serve you. I look forward to another 4 years,” Ellis wrote on social media.
Ellis, a Republican, first won election in Wyoming in 2016. She previously worked as a staffer for the U.S. Senate in Washington, D.C., and for the National Indian Gaming Commission, also in D.C.
