The Yavapai-Apache Nation is inviting the public to the grand opening of its new casino hotel.
The tribe broke ground on the six-story, 122-room hotel at the Cliff Castle Casino Hotel more than two years ago. After a grand opening ceremony this Friday, it will start accepting guests on March 1, according to a post on Facebook. “We’re excited to have the hotel open,” director of marketing James Perry, told The Verde Independent. The $30 million project was supposed to open in July 2017, The Verde Independent reported. But the tribe said delays caused by the contractor led to a slip in the schedule, The Verde Valley News reported. The new hotel is attached to the casino. Another hotel is located nearby and operates as the Lodge at Cliff Castle Casino. Read More on the Story:
