A gaming facility operated by the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes was robbed early Sunday morning and authorities in Idaho already have a suspect in custody.
According to a press release from the tribe, a man with a shotgun took a "large amount of money" from the Sage Hill Casino at around 2:25am on Sunday. Surveillance images released by the facility showed a man with a distinctive skull tattoo on his right hand. "After a large amount of money was placed inside the bag, the male individual took the bag, walked out of the casino and got into a truck," the press release stated. "No staff or patrons were harmed. " With the assistance of tribal police department, the Idaho State Police and Bannock County Sheriff's Department apprehended a suspect later in the evening, KIFI/KIDK reported. The man's name has not yet been released, the station said. "Thank you Tribal and county law enforcement for all your hard work on closing this case within 24 hours!" a second post on the tribe's Facebook page read.
