The Chickasaw Nation has bought more land around its fun center and casino, The Daily Oklahoman reports.
The tribe paid $1 million for an 18.5-acre tract across the highway from the site, the paper said. The land was formerly owned by a the local electric co-op. The tribe already has about 41 acres in trust where the fun center and a travel plaza with some gaming machines are located. The tribe is planning to build a larger casino on a tract adjacent to this trust land. Get the Story:
