The Bureau of Indian Affairs has issued a finding of no significant impact, or FONSI, for a $100 million casino proposed by the Match-e-be-nash-she-wish Band of Pottawatomi of Michigan.
The tribe is seeking to have 145 acres placed in trust for the project. The BIA will allow a 30-day comment period, according to Chronicle News Service. The tribe has partnered with Station Casinos for the facility but has not yet negotiated a Class III compact with the state. Get the Story:
