The tribe went to federal court to stop the National Indian Gaming Commission from imposing a shutdown. Bu the judge yesterday rejected a temporary restraining order. An NIGC spokesperson told The Kansas City Star she couldn't speculate on what the agency would do next. The tribe was given until today to submit a response to an opinion, issued last week, that the casino is illegal.
