A judge in Maine ruled that a tribal partnership does not have the right to bid on a slot machine license.
The Penobscot Nation and Passamaquoddy Tribe joined forces with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation to seek the ability to operate up to 1,500 slot machines at a racetrack.
