Residents of Ukiah, California, say they are worried a tribal casino might come to their backyard.
The Pinoleville Band of Pomo Indians has agreed to buy 105 acres in Ukiah. The tribe hasn't disclosed publicly its plans but residents want the county to ban any sort of deal for an off-reservation casino.
