Panel discusses future of gaming in Michigan

Friday, April 16, 2004

A panel at Central Michigan University focused on the future of gaming in the state.

Discussion appeared to be dominated by a proposal to allow electronic games at race tracks. Tribes oppose the measure.

Audrey Falcon, chief of the Saginaw Chippewa Tribe, was part of the panel but spoke very little, according to Central Michigan Life.

The panel included representatives of race tracks and anti-gambling groups.
