The Tachi Yokut Tribe of California broke ground on a $107 million expansion of its casino.
The tribe will add a hotel, a conference center, a 2,000-seat amphitheater and other amenities. The expansion will add 177,000 square-feet of gaming space. The expansion will do away with the casino's "Las Vegas" feel and add more tribal touches, the chairman said. Expected to open in November 2005, the project will create up to 400 jobs. Get the Story:
