The Jicarilla Apache Nation of New Mexico is planning a mid-July opening for a casino that was completed way back in 1998
The $4 million Apache Nugget casino, located at a rest area off a highway, was never opened after a change in tribal leadership in 1999. But a study concluded that the time was right for the facility. The tribe has since opened a casino on the reservation. The tribe is planning a $25 million expansion there. Get the Story:
