Osage Nation opens new casino outside Tulsa

The Osage Nation of Oklahoma opened its new Million Dollar Elm Casino outside of Tulsa on Thursday.

The 25,000-square-foot facility, soon to be expanded, houses 500 electronic gaming machines, a food court, a bar and lounge and a gift shop. It cost $6.5 million.

Other tribes with new or expanding casinos in the Tulsa area include the Cherokee Nation and the Creek Nation.
