The Osage Nation has joined other large Oklahoma tribes in endorsing State Question 712, a ballot initiative to legalize certain electronic gaming machines.
Chief Jim Gray says gaming revenues shared with the state will support education. The tribe is running a radio ad campaign in support of the initiative. The Chickasaw, Choctaw and Cherokee tribes have contributed $500,000 to back the initiative. If legalized, some horse tracks will get to offer the same electronic games. Get the Story:
