Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) says he isn't ready to talk about a gaming compact with the Miccosukee Tribe.
"This is very complicated stuff," he told Knight Ridder. "There are no negotiations under way." The tribe sent a letter to Bush seeking a Class III gaming compact. The tribe cited a voter-approved amendment paving the way for slot machines in two counties. The letter started a 180-day deadline for Bush to respond in "good faith."
