Minnesota tribes spent more than $1.7 million in 2004 to lobby state lawmakers on gaming, according to a report released by the state Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board.
Combined with more than $1 million from three gaming companies, the total amount spent on gaming-related issues last year was $2.8 million. This was the most of any single industry/ issue.
