The Northern Arapaho Tribe of Wyoming expects to open its new $10.3 million casino by Christmas.
The Wind River Casino will be limited to Class II games, said chairman Rick Brannan. The tribe has estimated it could see $8 million to $12 million in profits a year from Class II games. The tribe is also pursuing Class III games but the state is objecting. The 10th Circuit Court of Appeals reheard the dispute earlier this month.
