The Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community of Minnesota failed to disclose how much it spent on an advertising campaign against a proposed casino, The Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
The tribe ran TV and radio commercials against a plan by Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R) to build a casino in partnership with another tribe. The casino would compete directly with the Shakopee's Twin Cities-area casino. The tribe plans to file an amended report with the Minnesota Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board to note the cost of the campaign. Get the Story:
