The Lytton Band of Pomo Indians is debuting 500 electronic bingo machines at its card club in the Bay Area.
The tribe turned to Class II machines after its Class III gaming compact with the state ran into opposition. The agreement called for a huge casino with as many as 2,000 slot machines. The facility is located on 9 acres of trust land in downtown San Pablo. A bill pending in the Senate would require the tribe to go through the two-part determination process before engaging in any sort of gaming on the land. Get the Story:
