The Forest County Potawatomi Tribe could bring in $12 billion in revenue over the next 25 years if its casino expansion moves forward, The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
The paper said its calculations show the tribe and local communities will benefit immensely from an expanded casino. The project, however, is on hold pending legal challenges in the state courts. The casino, located near Milwaukee, is already the biggest grosser in the state. The tribe signed a new compact that calls for revenue sharing of $750 million over the next 25 years. Get the Story:
