The West Region Tribal Council announced a $1.2 billion casino resort on west shore of Clear Lake in Manitoba.
The council, which represents several First Nations in western Manitoba, have partnered with a New York-based developer. CBC News said little is known about the group, and tribal leaders wouldn't give up any information. The Red Sky Hotel and Resort/Casino would include a hotel, entertainment center, beach, shopping centre, restaurants and a theater in addition to the proposed casino. Get the Story:
