The Analysis Group is releasing its latest Indian Gaming Industry Report today.
Compiled by economist Alan Meister, the report notes a 15.6 percent increase in tribal gaming revenues. Tribal casinos brought in nearly $23 billion in 2005, the report says. In California, revenues grew by 24 percent to 7.2 billion, according to Meister. In Wisconsin, tribes took in $1.2 billion last year, the report says, a modest increase of 4.4 percent. Michigan tribes saw a 2 percent increase. But a total of 12 states -- including Florida, Oklahoma and Washington -- saw double-digit growth in 2005, according to the data.
