The tribe and Harrah's are working to amend the state constitution to authorize a casino in the town of West Warwick. The issue is on the November ballot. The tribe and Harrah's issued separate supporting statements after two private equity firms -- Texas Pacific Group and Apollo Management -- offered a $15.1 billion stock buyout.
