Mohegan Tribe announces plan for $80M convention center at casino

The Mohegan Tribe is expanding its casino in Connecticut.
According to news reports, the tribe will be adding an $80 million convention center to the Mohegan Sun. The 131,000-square-foot Mohegan Sun Expo Center is expected to open in the summer of 2018.
Separately, the Mohegans have joined forces with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal
Nation on a potential third casino. The project needs approval from the state.
