Seminole Tribe continues to share gaming revenues with Florida

The Seminole Tribe continues to share gaming revenues with the state of Florida even after winning a key lawsuit.

The tribe shared nearly $40 million for the first two months of the year, Florida Politics reported. That's in addition to the $300-plus million that was shared last year, the site reported at the time.

The tribe can offer Class III games without sharing revenues because the state broke a promise of exclusivity, a federal judge ruled last year. But efforts to come up with a new compact have been stymied by state lawmakers.
