The Ho-Chunk Nation in Wisconsin has started work on a $153 million gaming expansion project.
As part of Project Forward, the tribe is upgrading its facilities in Wisconsin
Dells, Black River
Falls and Wittenberg. Three events were held last week to mark the start of work, according to news reports.
“It’s been a long time coming,” Elliot Garvin, a former tribal lawmaker, said at the last event on Friday, The La Crosse Tribune reported. “We’re going to be delving into a new adventure here."
