Members of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community of Michigan are going to the polls on Saturday to vote on gaming projects.
The tribe wants to spend $33.5 million on renovations at the Ojibwa Casino in Marquette, The Houghton Daily Mining Gazette reported. Another
$6.5 million would be spent on the facility
in Baraga.
Gaming projects have been controversial on the reservation.
In December 2014, voters rejected plans to relocate the Baraga casino.
