The Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indians in California is celebrating the 15th anniversary of its casino with an expansion project.

The Black Oak Casino Resort will be seeing a 5,000 square-foot addition, according to news reports. A recreational vehicle park is also coming to the facility.

“Generally, the casino building we’re doing at the moment has been open for 10 years now, so it’s time to do some refurbishing and refreshing,“ CEO Ron Patel told The Sonora Union Democrat. "The hotel’s been open for three years, so the RV park is a natural addition."

Construction on the casino expansion will begin later this year and it's due to open early next year. Part of RV park could open by the end of the year, The Union Democrat reported.

The casino opened in May 2001. An expansion opened five years later, The Union Democrat reported, and a hotel was added in 2013.
