Yavapai-Prescott Tribe settles with John McCain campaign staffer

A campaign staffer for Sen. John McCain (R-Arizona) is no longer facing a criminal charge for an incident at a casino owned by the Yavapai-Prescott Tribe.

Blaze Lawrence Baggs had been accused of disorderly conduct for allegedly damaging a sign at the Bucky's Casino in Prescott. But the charge was dropped after he agreed to pay $275 in settlement costs and $38 in restitution to the Yavapai Gaming Agency, ABC15 reports.

Baggs also must stay out of trouble for six months or he could face federal charges, the station reported. His case had been filed in Prescott Justice Court.

Despite the settlement, Baggs will remain banned from Bucky's Casino and the Yavapai Casino, ABC15 reported.
