Yavapai-Prescott Tribe bans Sen. McCain campaign staffer from casinos

The Yavapai-Prescott Tribe has permanently banned a campaign staffer for Sen. John McCain (R-Arizona) from its two gaming facilities, according to news reports.

Blaze Lawrence Baggs, 23, was seen on surveillance video tearing down a sign at the Bucky's Casino in February, ABC15 said. He was charged with disorderly conduct in state court but is also facing federal charges.

“An unfortunate action was taken by a campaign staff member a few weeks ago, which is being addressed through the judicial process. Additional disciplinary actions are being taken by the campaign," a McCain campaign spokesperson told ABC15. Baggs is still employed by the campaign, the station said.

McCain is seeking re-election to the Senate and is facing a tough challenge from Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick (D-Arizona), who launched her campaign in May 2015.

The tribe operates Bucky's Casino and the Yavapai Casino.
