The Ho-Chunk Nation wants to sell liquor at its Class II gaming facility in Madison, The Wisconsin State Journal reports.

The Ho-Chunk Gaming Madison plans to serve liquor to patrons on the gaming floor and at a bar with some seating, the paper said.

“It will upgrade the experience for our players,” general manager Daniel Brown told the paper.

The tribe will be submitting a license application to the city, whose mayor does not oppose the request, the paper reported.
