Connecticut tribes see mixed results in slot machine revenues

Connecticut's two federally recognized tribes reported slot machine results for the month of December 2015.

The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation saw revenues of $37.7 million at the Foxwoods Resort Casino. That's 4.1 percent higher than December 2014.

The Mohegan Tribe saw revenues of $47.3 million at Mohegan Sun. The figure represented a 3.5 percent decline from the year prior.

The tribes are seeking approval to open a new facility in order to address competition from neighboring Massachusetts.
