Connecticut's two federally recognized tribes reported declines in their slot machine revenues for the month of October 2015.
The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation reported $38.6 million in slot revenue at the Foxwoods Resort Casino. That's 3.0 percent below October of last year.
The Mohegan Tribe reported $48.9 million at Mohegan Sun for October. That's 1.7 percent lower than the same month in 2014.
The Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority also reported preliminary operating results for the quarter that ended September 30. Gross slot revenues are expected to range between $203.0 million and $211.3 million, which would represent a decrease of 3% or an increase of 1% compared to 2014.
Both tribes are seeking to jointly operate a third casino to address competition from neighboring Massachusetts.
