The Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria are celebrating the second anniversary of their gaming facility in the Bay Area of northern California.
The $825 million Graton Resort and Casino opened in November 2013. It's the closest Class III facility to San Francisco.
The tribe is expanding the successful casino with a $175 million hotel. It's due to open in the fall of 2016.

"We’re fulfilling the dimension of our name," general manager Joe Hasson told The San Francisco Chronicle.
The facility has been blamed for a drop in business at the
River Rock Casino, owned by the Dry Creek Rancheria Band
of Pomo Indians. Bay Area patrons who would normally go to River Rock are being diverted to the Graton casino, according to the Dry Creek Band.
River Rock is about 32 miles north of Graton, according to Google Maps.
