The Forest County Potawatomi
Community saw a 2.5 percent increase in gaming revenues in the last year, The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
The tribe does not disclose revenues from the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino,
an off-reservation facility in Milwaukee. But based on the amounts shared with the city and the county, the paper calculated the figure to be at least $360 million, up from $352 million in the year prior.
The state also receives a cut of the money. The exact amount wasn't reported but it typically ranges from $25 million to $30 million.
The payments are required by the tribe's Class
III gaming compact.
