The Ho-Chunk Nation has big plans for its gaming facility in Madison, Wisconsin.
The tribe owns nearly 48 acres next to the Ho-Chunk Gaming Madison. Details are still being worked out but options include a cultural center, a hotel, a sports center, entertainment venues and retail shops.
“We’re being very deliberative,” Daniel Brown, the facility's general manager, told The Wisconsin State Journal. “We’re sort of inching along.”
The tribe visited the Chickasaw Cultural Center on the Chickasaw Nation in Oklahoma to get ideas for the project, the paper reported. A conceptual plan could be released later this summer.
