The Confederated Salish and Kootenai
Tribes of Montana are spending $4.6 million to renovate a gaming facility.
The Nook restaurant at the KwaTaqNuk Resort Casino in Polson has a new patio deck. The tribe is also upgrading a hotel wing, adding new amenities and improving the parking, The Char-Koosta News reported.
Separately, the S&K Gaming, the tribe's gaming arm, plans to spend $27 million to build a new Gray Wolf Peak
Casino in Evaro. The project has been controversial but appears to be moving forward.
S&K gaming also acquired a new marina and restaurant in Big Arm, about 13 miles from KwaTaqNuk. Gaming is not taking place at the site.
