An employee of the casino owned by the Colorado River Indian Tribes tried to blame someone else when he was arrested for allegedly stealing $132,500 from the facility last November.

Vladimir Quintana, 25, claimed that another individual threatened his family and forced him to divulge information about the vault at the Blue Water Resort Casino, where he worked as a security guard. But video surveillance showed that there was just one person that participated in the crime.

After fleeing with the cash, authorities said Quintana led a tribal police officer on a high speed chase. During that time, a semi-automatic pistol was discharged twice.

Quintana is being held in county jail in Arizona on three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, one count of robbery and one count of interference with commerce by robbery.
