The Stillaguamish Tribe
of Washington is opening its $27 million casino hotel to the public on Friday.
On Monday, tribal elders were the first guests at the five-story, 125-room hotel to the Angel of the Winds Casino.
Tuesday saw other tribal members and Wednesday was followed by VIPs and other invited guests.
The trial run went so well that the tribe is welcoming the public earlier than planned.
"We've come a long way," elder LaVaun Tatro told The Bothell Reporter. "I'm very proud."
While the public can now book rooms, online reservations won't start until January 2, 2015, the paper reported.
