The Ho-Chunk Nation launched a new outreach campaign to promote its economic development efforts in Wisconsin.
Thanks to its gaming enterprise, the tribe has put more than 3,000 people to work and has a payroll of more than $80 million. "That’s money that stays in Wisconsin and keeps our communities strong," the Good for Wisconsin site says.
The campaign comes as the tribe undertakes a $144 million expansion of four Ho-Chunk Gaming
locations. A list of expansion projects was included in a resolution
that was approved by the Ho-Chunk
Nation Legislature in March.
