Tribes hit the $1 billion mark in revenue sharing this summer, according to the latest figures from the Arizona Department of Gaming.
For the quarter that ended June 30, tribes shared $24.6 million with the state. That puts the cumulative total at around $1.003 billion, when added to figures from a May 5 report.
Under their Class III gaming compacts, tribes share between 1 percent and 8 percent of revenues.
