The Forest County Potawatomi
Tribe of Wisconsin is hiring 250 people to work at a new casino hotel.
Hundreds of people turned out for a job fair at the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino on Monday. Another fair will be held June 14.
“People will be offered jobs on the spot,” spokesperson Ryan Amundson told The Milwaukee Business Journal. “These are good jobs – competitive wages, great benefits.”
The $160 million, 371,000 square-foot hotel features 381 rooms. It's due to open later this summer.
Total employment at the facility will be nearly 3,000.
