The Ho-Chunk Nation of
Wisconsin will start work on a casino expansion project this fall.
The tribe is spending $144 million to upgrade four Ho-Chunk Gaming locations. The facility in Wisconsin Dells will see a new restaurant, a new parking structure, an entertainment complex, more retail space, new bathroom facilities, a more handicap friendly entrance and new air conditioning and air filtration systems.
"One of the important things is, we don't want to disrupt customers coming into the facilities," Collin Price, the tribe's public relations officer, told Capital Newspapers. "We want to make it minimal as far as impact."
A list of all expansion projects is included in a resolution
that was approved by the Ho-Chunk
Nation Legislature in March.
