Tribes shared $24 million in casino revenue for the quarter that ended March 13, the Arizona Department of Gaming reported.
The $24 million was about the same amount that was shared during the same quarter in 2013,
the department said in a press release.
Under their Class III gaming compacts, tribes share between 1 percent and 8 percent of revenues. As of this month, they have shared about $979 million since 2002, according to a department report.
Tribes expect to hit the $1 billion mark this summer.
