Friday, April 18, 2014

Gaming tribes in Arizona expect to hit the $1 billion mark in revenue sharing this summer.

Under their Class III gaming compacts, tribes share between 1 percent and 8 percent of revenues. As of January, they had contributed $940 million to the state since 2002.

An announcement on the $1 billion mark is expected next week, Rick Medina of the Arizona Department of Gaming told Cronkite News.
