Indian Gaming Industry Report shows 2 percent growth in 2012

The new Indian Gaming Industry report is out.

Tribal casinos saw $28.1 billion in revenues in 2012, according to Casino City’s Indian Gaming Industry Report.
The figure is a record for the tribal casino industry. But revenues only grew 2 percent, compared to 3.4 percent in 2011.
Tribes in California took in $7 billion, a 1 percent increase. Oklahoma took in $3.7 billion, a 7 percent increase.
Florida tribes reported $2.2 billion, a 3 percent gain. Tribes in Connecticut took in $1.85 billion, an 8.3 percent decline, the largest of any state.
New Mexico tribes saw $864 million in 2012, a 7 percent increase.
